Our Mission
Another unique corporate training program from Langden Knowsley (LK)

Decisions
Each session shows how decisions and actions at the individual, team, and organizational levels affect other parts of the organization, including possible unintended consequences.

Actions
Participants learn to maximize positive outcomes, reduce negative impacts, and analyze how historical trends inform decisions and how current actions affect future outcomes.

Result
This increased awareness leads to more intentional actions and consistent follow-through.
Identifying Patterns
In complex systems, all elements are interconnected, and identifying emerging patterns is essential for understanding the impact of strategic initiatives. Participants assess their contexts as they learn to measure and monitor outcomes in real time, ensuring these results guide adaptive planning.
They also develop strategies to respond effectively to unexpected developments.
Progress
Inquiry techniques are used to assess current developments, identify actions, and determine needed changes.
This allows for in-depth strategy review, outcome evaluation, and identification of trends to address in the next cycle.

Clarifying Purpose
Organizational strategies are often developed by a small group and implemented by others, which can create a disconnect or lack of understanding, especially at lower levels. We encourage participants to clarify their collective purpose and align daily activities with strategic or business-unit objectives. Participants will review their tasks and evaluate how these support organizational strategy or departmental change.
Future Back
We examine organizational patterns across three time horizons: past, present, and future. We assess how these patterns have influenced conditions that either hindered or supported previous strategies. Participants are encouraged to reflect on how historical patterns continue to shape current dynamics and influence future strategy. When analyzing current patterns, we focus on recent developments and evaluate whether present conditions differ from or resemble those in the past.
Pivot Points
We aim to strengthen participants’ ability to interpret the external environment, identify connections, and understand how events and trends may unintentionally influence organizational strategy and preferred patterns. We begin by examining participants’ attentional focus and the objects of their attention. It then explores how participants construct meaning from trends and determine which factors they consider when evaluating impact.
Portfolio Analysis
Our primary objective is to identify obstacles and opportunities by analyzing each participant’s full portfolio of projects, related activities, and influential relationships. We use an ecological metaphor to assess the current stage of these efforts. We will develop a consolidated group plan that provides an integrated perspective, helping participants prioritize their work, align with organizational strategy, and appreciate the value of regular reviews in meeting group objectives.
Scenario Planning
We develop strategies to address a range of possible and unpredictable futures. Participants create scenarios based on key trends from session three, prioritizing those with the greatest potential impact. Each scenario is labeled, and vignettes describe the related events. Participants then assess each scenario’s impact on organizational strategy and identify actions to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities. Finally, they determine which actions apply across all scenarios and incorporate these elements into the strategic plan.
Organizing
Participants review various organizational approaches for implementing the adaptive plan. We begin by analyzing the current network pattern and its impact on implementation. Participants then consider relational dynamics that may support or challenge the formation of effective teams. Together, they assess their baseline and decide which organizational settings to adjust or retain.
